Algerian international, Benkhemassa reinforces midfield

Málaga CF has reached an agreement with USM Alger to incorporate the midfielder, who has signed for this present season plus another two.

Mohamed Benkhemassa (28th June 1993, Algeria) trained in the lower categories of his home city’s club, MC Oran, and later moved to the USM Alger youth ranks, competing in the Ligue Professionnelle 1 Mobilis, where he made his professional debut in the 2014/15 season accumulating 95 league matches, 17 in the African Champions League and seven in the Algerian Cup.

Over five seasons with USM Alger, the 26-year-old midfielder won two leagues (2015/16 and 2018/19) and was also named best player of the Algerian first division (2015/16).

International

Benkhemassa is an international with Algeria’s first team, having been called-up five times. In addition, he has always been a regular fixture within the lower categories of the Algerian squad, since he debuted with the Under-23s in 2014.

Debut

The now Blue and White player has passed the complementary medical tests at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda, and he subsequently signed his new contract in the Club’s offices.
