Munir: “I’m very happy with how I’m adapting to the team”

The Málaga CF goalkeeper spoke to MCFTV and affirmed that pre-season training is “the foundation to achieve great things. This is the way forward”.

Adaptation

“I’m very happy with how I’m adapting to the group, the team and the city. Little by little I’m trying to adapt as soon as possible, so in that sense I’m very pleased”.

Professionalism of the Club

“I was quite surprised by the great professionalism here in the method of work. It’s something I like and why I chose Málaga. It’s the foundation to achieve great things. This is the way forward”.

Muñiz

“The coach is trying to control everything, which is important for us to adapt to him and his way of working. It’s positive for the group for us to work together with the coach as soon as possible”.

Debut against Marbella

“I played my first game, a friendly, and the team is gradually gaining sensations. Apart from the workload of various training sessions, the players are now getting to know each other, we’re adapting. This is the line to follow, the way of working is positive and bit by bit we’ll try to adapt. I’m sure the upcoming matches will help us in our preparations”.

Moroccan players on the team

“Being so young, with the ambition they have, the enthusiasm they show in training and how they work, they are all to be admired. They are young guys and their way of working and adapting to the group has surprised me. I’m happy for them, for how things are going, and I hope it continues”.

Competition

“For me it’s positive, competition is good in all positions and will make us all better. In the end, they are decisions made by the sports management. The more competition there is, myself and my teammates being at 100 per cent will be better for the team”.
