Morning training returns to La Rosaleda

The Malaguista first team was back in training this Wednesday morning between 10:30 and 12:00 at La Rosaleda Stadium. Luis Muñoz remained in the gym due to a slight muscular strain.

The second session of the week, the first to take place in the morning, focused on technical exercises with the ball. There were few changes compared to yesterday’s session. The same 26 players were in action, 15 professionals and 11 homegrown players with a number higher than ‘25’.

Jozabed and Mejías were again part of the group for the second day on the bounce. Dani Strindholm joined goalkeeping training along with Gonzalo and Juan Soriano, replacing Dani Barrio who was absent with the Club’s permission (personal reasons). Luis Muñoz remained in the gym today for specific treatment on a minor muscular strain (right quadriceps).

Reserve team forward Julio was the new face from the MCF Academy, joining Murillo, Rafa Camacho and regular fixtures Ismael, Benítez, Quintana, Mini, Cristo, plus ‘juvenil’ player David Larrubia.

Meanwhile, Calero, Benkhemassa and Hicham alternated between the gym and specific training on the pitch outside the group, under the supervision of Manu Gestoso. Chavarría (gym) and Ramón (rest) complete the players in the infirmary.

Tomorrow, Thursday at 10:30, Málaga CF will resume training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
