Two goals for his country

“It was fantastic. Being able to represent your country is extremely exciting, and I was delighted to give my all. I debuted with a goal and things went really well. It was a spectacular trip and a great presentation”.

Reception, and the call-up

“The first time I went a lot of people supported me, but this time it was incredible and somewhat surprising for me personally. My father is from Nicaragua, but as a result of certain issues he went to Venezuela. I was given the opportunity to called-up and I accepted”.

Growth and commitment

“I still have many years left as a footballer and being with the national squad. Of course, you feel that sense of commitment. Nicaragua is in the process of development, which happened five years ago in Venezuela. As such I can see things well, and am focused on contributing what I can to this growth”.

Dely Valdés, coach and benchmark

“He’s the bomb, I’m always waiting for him to score a goal in a training session, or when he’s explaining a finishing exercise or something. I’m waiting for him to get in and make a shot. The truth is, for me, as a striker, he’s an important and major point of reference. Having him as coach and all his advice is a big help to my growth as a player”.

Final stage in Third Division Group IX

“The teams are all playing to win, they are difficult matches and grounds. Every player is doing his best and we’re aiming to get the most out of the remainder of competition to finish at the top and conquer what we’re all hoping for”.
