The Blue and White first team was in training this Wednesday at La Rosaleda Stadium. Like yesterday, rain took centre stage on the main Martiricos pitch.
There was a video session between approximately 10:30 and 11:00. Subsequently, after 12:30, there was an intense session at La Rosaleda featuring activation exercises, work in reduced spaces and technical, tactical and strategy training with the ball.
21 of the 23 professional players were in action today under Sergio Pellicer’s orders, totalling 27 including six homegrown players: Carlos López, Andrés Caro, Cristian, Loren, Bilal and Juanmita.
Outside the group, Bustinza, Escassi and reserve team player Moussa underwent running and specific training on the pitch together with physical trainer, Toni Tapia. In the case of the defender from the Basque Country, he is progressing well from the sprained ankle sustained against Oviedo last Friday. Olmo and Haitam, both with long-term injuries, remained in the gym.
Tomorrow, Thursday at 10:30, the fourth training session of the week will get underway at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
