The RFEF’s Competition Committee has awarded Esteban Burgos with a two-match suspension, meaning he’ll miss out on the games against Albacete BP and Real Zaragoza.
The Argentine central defender was sent off with a direct red card after 60 minutes of play in the last match against Real Oviedo last Friday at La Rosaleda Stadium.
The federative committee has given Burgos a two-match ban based on article 124, relating to attitudes of disrespect or inconsideration towards the referees or sports authorities.
In addition, there are four Malaguista players on the verge of suspension on a cycle of four yellow cards: Febas, Loren, Javi Jiménez and Luis Muñoz.
