The Málaga CF squad stepped on to the pitch at La Rosaleda’s Annexe at 9:30 this morning, beginning the session with the usual warm-up and various activation exercises. The Malaguista coach then arranged his players in midfield to focus on passing and shots at goal.
There were two new faces to today’s session. Juvenil players Iván Jaime (midfielder) and Ismael Casas (right back) trained with the first team. Joining them were Atlético Malagueño goalkeeper (Álvaro Fernández), Iván Rodríguez, Abqar, Hicham and Jack Harper.
Miguel Torres remained in the gym today as he continues his recovery from injury, along with Juanpi Añor. International winger with Montenegro, Haksabanovic is currently in Sweden, with the Club’s permission, to resolve personal issues. Recio was also absent from the group session with the Club’s permission.
The team will return to training tomorrow (9:30) to continue preparations for Monday’s clash with UD Almería.
