Málaga CF has reinforced its defence since the new coach arrived. Míchel’s team has not conceded a goal in three out of their last five LaLiga matches, in which they have only yielded four goals. Stats that reflect the collective work of the group and the strong defensive display by the Malaguista players.
Míchel has built a wall in defence, and this was shown again on Saturday in the team’s 2-0 victory against FC Barcelona. Beforehand, the Blue and Whites showed a similar strong defence in matches against CD Leganés (0-0) and Sporting de Gijón (0-1). Only two teams have managed to perforate Kameni’s goal since the arrival of the new coach; (Deportivo Alavés and Atlético de Madrid).
With Míchel as coach, Málaga have won seven points out of a possible 15, accumulating two consecutive victories and claiming the first win of the season away from La Rosaleda.
