Míchel refines his team before heading to Cádiz

The pleasant temperature in the atmosphere was welcomed by the players, who were in training for an hour and half this morning, the day before the Carranza Cup.

The Blue and Whites’ players kicked off the morning with the usual warm-up, followed by specific exercises using the ball and focusing on possession. Juankar and Luis Muñoz re-joined the group in normal training. Jony was one of the stars of the day, as his teammates congratulated him on becoming a father.

Miguel Torres, Peñaranda and Keko continued with their recovery work in the gym today. Homegrown player, José Carlos suffered slight discomfort and exercised in the stadium’s interior galleries as a precaution.

Ontiveros and Ricca stepped on to the pitch alongside Hugo Camarero, and Mikel Villanueva and Michael Santos were absent from the session with the Club’s permission.

The Malaguista expedition will leave La Rosaleda at 18:30 today to head to Cádiz, to compete in the prestigious Carranza Cup.
