The reserve team took an early lead with two goals in the first 10 minutes, the work of Juanjo (own goal) and Rafa Camacho. Fran Bea, from the penalty spot, narrowed the gap just before half-time. In the second half, Blue and White 'pichichi' Julio (14 goals scored) made it 3-1, but the visitors scored again and Abqar was sent off in the closing stages. However, Iván Jaime appeared to score the 4-2 and leave the three points in Málaga.
