MCF Academy match results

Defeat for Atlético Malagueño and the Juvenil DH over the weekend by 2-1 and 1-2 respectively. The rest of the grassroots teams achieved good results.

Atlético Malagueño

Atlético Malagueño suffered an away defeat in Melilla. The Blue and Whites conceded two goals consecutively (29’ and 30’) and didn’t manage to get on the scoreboard until the last minute, when David Ramos gained possession inside the area following a god display by Rubén. Beyond football, the main talking point was the condition of the flooded pitch with the referee about to postpone play. However, the match kicked off 45 minutes late.

Juvenil DH

The Juvenil División de Honor were denied by category leaders, Sevilla FC. The visitors took the lead, Castillo went level for Francis Bravo’s team, but Sevilla went on to score the winner. With one match remaining, Málaga have 64 points and are in fourth place in the standings.
