Rainy morning training session at La Rosaleda
Málaga trained this Wednesday morning at La Rosaleda Stadium. Under the manager’s orders, all available players took part except injured Einar, Luismi, and Pastor.
After a gym session in the indoor facilities, the Blue and Whites trained from 10:45 on the soaked Martiricos pitch.
A tactical talk, physical and ball activation, group rounds, and tactical drills were the focus of the day. All squad members were available to Funes, except those not yet fit, Einar, Luismi, and Pastor.
In the case of the centre-back without a federation licence, he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, consisting of a partial meniscectomy of the medial meniscus along with debridement of fibrotic tissue. The procedure was completed without complications, and Álex Pastor will continue his recovery process. The surgery was performed by Dr. Antonio Luis Leiva, a specialist at Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga.
Tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:30, Málaga Club de Fútbol will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
