Málaga CF welcome Granada CF to La Rosaleda for the Round of 32 Copa de S.M. El Rey clash.
The Blue and Whites, in 11th place in LaLiga SmartBank with 28 points, are up against this rival with 27 points in 7th place in LaLiga Santander. The match is taking place at La Rosaleda Stadium this Sunday at 12;00, broadcast by DAZN.
Carlos del Cerro Grande from Madrid will be officiating, who has refereed Málaga CF in 25 official matches, two of which were in the Copa del Rey. The results were 11 victories, three draws and 11 defeats for the Malaguistas. Again, there will be no VAR for this Cup match.

The first time Málaga CF will face Granada CF in the Copa del Rey.
In previous rounds MCF defeated Coruxo FC (0-4) and Real Oviedo (1-0), whereas Granada CF beat AD San Juan (0-2) and Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa (1-2).

In the Cup match against Real Oviedo, for the first time ever in a match Málaga CF made a sixth substitution. The match went to extra time during which a sixth change can be made.
CD Málaga played Granada CF in five Cup ties, four of which had two legs. In the match held at Baños del Carmen (as CD Malacitano) and La Rosaleda, CD Málaga obtained two victories, one draw and one defeat.
Since 3rd December 1980, Granada CF haven’t visited La Rosaleda for a Cup game. That day the Martiricos squad, with Ben Barek in the dugout, won by 2-1 with goals from Canillas and Muñoz Pérez.
