Match preview: Atlético-Málaga

Málaga CF is away to Club Atlético de Madrid for the 35th LaLiga match, taking place at the Vicente Calderón (Saturday 23rd, 6:15 p.m.) refereed by Valencian-born, Mateu Lahoz.

The Blue and Whites, 9th place with 42 points, are up against the Red and Whites, 2nd place in the table with 79 points.  In the first round match at La Rosaleda, a goal from Charles led Málaga to victory against the Colchoneros (1-0).  The last match on the banks of the Manzanares river ended in a 3-1 victory for the locals, in the 12th match of 2014/15, with Atlético goals from Tiago, Griezmann and Godín, and a Malaguaista goal by Roque Santa Cruz.
