Bokerones in Madrid pay tribute to Camacho and Torrontegui

The Malaguista Peña in the capital made the most of the team’s visit to Madrid to carry out their traditional awards ceremony.

The Peña Malaguista Bokerones in Madrid is proud to bear the name of Málaga CF in the Spanish capital, and whenever they can, their members take the Blue and Whites’ colours all over the country.

On this occasion, they didn’t have to go anywhere, as the team is visiting Madrid for the match against Atlético.  What better time to pay tribute to two much-loved people in and out of the dressing room: player, Ignacio Camacho, and masseuse, Marcelino Torrontegui.

A lovely event, with president of the peña, Fernando López acting as master of ceremonies.  Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar was also in attendance, along with the president of the Federation of Peñas Malaguistas, Miguel Molina; vice president, Arturo Caracuel; and various members of the coaching team, who wished to accompany Camacho and Torrontegui.

As stated by the president of the Bokerones in Madrid: “This is the most important day for our peña, as we honour those who have long been providing a service to the Club.  Both the coaching team - as is the case this year with Torrontegui - is loved by everyone, as well as players such as Ignacio Camacho, a vital member of the team for us.”
