The Málaga CF coach, following the match against SD Eibar: “We didn’t deserve to concede those three goals”.
Follow the same line
“It’s a strange feeling about a match where I don’t think there were any drawbacks. The team played well, it was an even game, and we didn’t deserve to concede those three goals, particularly with the pace of play we were adopting. However, we must now turn the page and focus on Tuesday’s match. There’s a lot to take away tonight, both positives and negatives, but it’s important we follow the same line of work and try to keep a slightly cooler head when it comes to protesting”.
Good job
“We did a good job, the team kept trying at every moment at what is a very difficult ground, where in every attacking action you are cut off by the rival. Charles contributed a lot when he joined the match, but the team did work hard. We are aware of the need for improvement in certain aspects of our gameplay, as we prepare for Tuesday.”
Arbitration
“We saw things happening that I don’t believe the team deserved. Unnecessary yellow cards, the expulsion of the coaching team, Rosales’ card, a yellow card awarded to Pablo for protesting…this has been the case for the past four or five games. We just have to live with it, as I imagine it will pass at some point. The team must solely focus on playing football, not issues surrounding the referees”.
