Antonio Vela is the second person to collaborate with the MCF Foundation to make and donate homemade visors with a Malagueño and Malaguista stamp.
Following on from the fantastic initiative by Manolo García, who told us a few weeks ago how he manufactures his own Malaguista visors against COVID-19, another person has joined him, who is collaborating with the Club via the Foundation. In this case, Antonio Vela utilises 3D printing to make the visors using the city’s colours, beautiful green and purple to represent Málaga.
“I met Manolo following a query regarding a printer and he was telling me about the movement of the Malaguista visors. I joined the group and made a model using the green and purple colours, and then I managed to buy the blue and white we’re using for printing now. I encourage everyone who has a printer to join the Málaga Foundation’s movement, as there are still lots of people out there who need protection”, Antonio told MCFTV.
The delegation of the Junta de Andalucía in our capital, under the direct coordination of Mercedes García Paine, together with the provincial delegate for Health and Family, Carlos Bautista, are channelling the distribution of these visors to the care homes most in need within the province.
Consignments of visors have already been delivered to Residencia de Mayores Santa Isabel, Comunidad Religiosa Santa Teresa and Residencia La Milagrosa, as well as other care homes for patients seriously affected by coronavirus.
