This Monday afternoon, at the Salón Luis Aragonés de la Ciudad del Fútbol de la RFEF (Las Rozas, Madrid), the draw was held for the 2nd knockout tie in the 2nd phase of the Third Division National Championships.
Atlético Malagueño have been paired with SCR Peña Deportiva, with the first leg taking place next weekend in Ibiza (3-4 June), and the return leg in Málaga on 10-11 June. Should the Blue and Whites’ reserve team pass this round, they will find out their last adversary in the fight for promotion, on Monday 12th June.
Peña Deportiva ended 4th in the regular league, in Third Division Group 11, winning 74 points in 38 matches, with 21 victories, 11 draws and six defeats (63 goals in favour, 35 conceded). In the first round of play-offs, the Ibiza-based side eliminated UD Alzira by a global 2-1, after securing that same result in the first leg at home, and with a goalless draw in the return leg away from home.
