Malagueño - Unión Adarve, the final fight for promotion
The Malaguista reserve team and the Madrid-based side will compete against each other for a place in Second Division B. The first leg will be held this weekend in the Spanish capital, and the return leg the following weekend in Málaga.
The RFEF held the draws on Monday afternoon for the final round of the Promotion Play-Offs to 2B, in which Atlético Malagueño were paired with AD Unión Adarve.
The MCF Academy team ended the season as Third Division Group IX leaders, which attributes the ‘pitch factor’ in their favour. As such, the first leg will take place on 18th June in Madrid, and the return leg in Málaga the following weekend.
AD Unión Adarve ended the regular season in second place of Third Division Group VII (66 points, 55 goals scored and 41 conceded). The Red and Blacks, coached by Víctor Cea, play their home games at Polideportivo Vicente del Bosque, located in the Pilar district.
