Málaga Femenino goes international during the league break
Three players from the Málaga CF women’s first team have travelled with their respective national squads during this ‘FIFA Window’: Dominika, Misa and Pamela.
Liga Iberdrola is taking a break for the next two weeks to make way for international fixtures. In the case of Málaga, who returns to league competition on 13th March against Sevilla FC Femenino, there are three players who are leaving the Costa del Sol to join their national teams. Dominika – with Slovenia -, Misa -with Montenegro - and Pamela – with Uruguay – are the called-up players and these are their corresponding matches:
Pamela and Uruguay
The Uruguayan player headed to her home country following UDG Tenerife -Málaga held on 24th February. The international was called-up to take part in a friendly in France against the French national squad. The match is being held on 4th March in Tours at 21:00.
Dominika and Misa, in the ‘Croatia Cup’
Malaguista players, Dominika and Misa have travelled with Slovenia and Montenegro to take part in the ‘Croatia Cup’. Both players will be rivals in this tournament, something they are used to. They returned to their home countries yesterday to later head to Zagreb, where the Cup competition is taking place.
The ‘WA Croatia Cup 2019’ will host the aforementioned Slovenia and Montenegro, as well as Serbia, Ukraine, Bosnia and host team Croatia. Both players will end their international duty on 4th March.
