A winning weekend without setting foot on the pitch for Atlético Malagueño, whilst Atlético Málaga drew with Granada. The benjamines were runners-up in the prestigious Móstoles tournament.
Atlético Malagueño were not in action at the weekend, although they still claimed another three points due to Español de Alquián retiring from the competition. In turn, the draw of the team’s main rival, Mancha Real, further consolidates Manel Ruano’s boys as league leaders. With eight matches left to go until the end of the competition, the Blue and Whites’ reserve team is in 1st place with 68 points, four more than the second-placed team.
Atlético Málaga drew with Granada CF at Portada Alta, in an interesting Andalucían derby for Manolo Hernández Navarrete’s girls, who deserved to win. Anita scored for the Blue and Whites in the first half, in minute 34’, and Laura equalised in minute 52’ for the visitors.
