The agreement took place today with a photograph at La Rosaleda stadium, in which the Veterans’ Board of Directors - Ernesto Terrón, Fernando Fernández-Escribano, Dely Valdés, Juanito, Koke Contreras and Manolo Gaspar – were present, along with Club advisers, Antonio Benítez, Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar.
Málaga CF will back and support the Blue and White Veterans’ Association in the organisation of its events and matches. Meanwhile, the ‘MCForever’ will maintain an independent structure, and commit to defending the image of the Club and taking part in official events.
Vice president of the ‘Forever’ team, Fernando Fernández-Escribano explains that “the first point of the agreement is always to defend the Club’s good image. Ourselves, as an association, are bound by our past. Furthermore, the Club can use the image of our members to promote ‘Malaguismo’ in the city, the province and outside our borders”. Fernando also highlights that “if before we were hand in hand, we’re now on the same step. This shows the greatness of the Club and the good work of the Veterans’ Association”.
An action that brings the Veterans and their history closer to the Entity, and reinforces a feeling that emotionally existed and will continue to exist ‘forever’.
