The group is headed up by Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar and director general, Vicente Casado accompanied by the coaching team and 19 players, of which one will have to be dropped from the list before tomorrow’s game.

On arrival at the hotel, the ‘Malaguista’ team was welcomed by the legendary player and current ambassador of Sporting de Gijón, Enrique Castro ‘Quini’, who greeted every member of the team, particularly his fellow countryman, Marcelino Torrontegui, who returns to his home this weekend.

The players will have dinner later at 9 p.m. and will undergo stretching exercises and a team talk tomorrow morning, before having lunch at 4:30 p.m. and heading to El Molinón.
