First team striker, Juanmi, presented the ‘Malaguista’ kit to the ONCE team in La Rosaleda locker room, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between Málaga CF and the award-winning team. The ONCE-Málaga team then took the official match photo with the Blue and Whites’ first team, and later enjoyed the League match from one of the stadium’s boxes. MCF TV was with the team at La Rosaleda to discover their experience of the game.
The ONCE-Málaga team has achieved great success. As runners-up in both European and World championships, five members received a bronze medal at the 2012 London Paralympics. The ONCE-Málaga team has also been League champions nine times, and champions of Spain no less than eight times. As international champions, they also won a title in Salonika as well as two championships in Modena.
