Málaga CF is travelling to Russia on Monday, ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League fourth group stage match against FC Zenit St. Petersburg.
The group will leave a day ahead of schedule, to allow the team to acclimatise to the low temperatures and time difference (three hours ahead of Spain). They’ll depart from La Rosaleda at 11 a.m. to catch a charter flight to St. Petersburg leaving at midday, and scheduled to land at 8:15 p.m. local time (5:15 p.m. in Spain).
Kick off is at 9 p.m. local time on Wednesday (6 p.m. in Spain) and the team will return home after the match, scheduled to land in Málaga at 3:30 a.m.
