Málaga CF now knows the LaLiga match schedule for the 2016/17 season. The Blue and Whites kick off the competition against Club Atlético Osasuna on the weekend of 20-21 August at La Rosaleda.
The first away encounter will be against RCD Espanyol, on match day 2. For the third LaLiga game, Juande Ramos’ team will welcome Villarreal CF. Málaga will face last season’s League winners, FC Barcelona in the 12th game of the season, at Barça’s ground. Another standout match is against Real Madrid. This will be the last of the season. The first match against the Whites will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu, and the last LaLiga match at La Rosaleda.
The first Andalucían derby is not until the 6th match of the season, when Málaga are away to Real Betis. On match day 15, Málaga will welcome Granada CF, and on match day 16 will face Sevilla FC at the Sánchez-Pizjuán.
