Press conference
“Málaga CF have not hindered any operation”

The Club’s judicial administrator, José María Muñoz spoke about the 'Horta case' during Manolo Gaspar's press conference at La Rosaleda. “We have signed a contract with Braga, and we have to fulfil it,” he said.

Muñoz didn’t mince his words when asked by the media about Ricardo Horta: “It’s very simple. Málaga Club de Fútbol have a signed contract with Braga and we have to fulfil it”. He added that “Malaga have not hindered any operation. We had a visit from Ricardo Horta’s representatives and figures have come out; we are gathering information and the contract is very clear.”

José María didn’t enter into specific percentages in terms of financial benefit for the Club in the event of Horta's transfer, as “there is a confidentiality agreement, from the previous directors,” although “the maximum that was proposed to us is three million” in reference to SC Braga.

“A lawyer from Braga contacted me and then we had a meeting with the representatives. There was never an offer in writing, everything has been calls and words,” continued the judicial administrator, who concluded by confirming that “yes, we know of two (offers for Horta) at least,” regarding a formal and tangible interest of a third team towards the former Blue and White player.
