II Heduca Fútbol Cup 2012
The Blue and Whites performed brilliantly throughout the tournament.  They defeated Portugal’s Benfica in the first round (1-2), and Betis (0-1), they drew against Barcelona (2-2), and lost to Puerto Malagueno (0-2).  Málaga beat Real Madrid in the semi-final on penalties, following a 1-1 draw at full time.  They faced Betis in the final, with Málaga winning by 1-2.  The match was refereed by Malagueño First Division ref, José Luis Paradas Romero.

Other teams that took part in this international tournament were Feyenoord, Sevilla FC, Granada 74 and Alhaurín de la Torre CF.


Primera benjamín
Málaga’s benjamínes also played a successful tournament, held in Barbastro (Huesca), finishing runners-up in the IV Aguas de Barbastro Tournament.  The Blue and Whites defeated Sitges by 1-4 in the first match and Getafe in the second by 3-1, to reach the final.  Málaga lost to Rayo Vallecano by 4-2.  UD Barbastro and CA Osasuna also took part, although they didn’t face Málaga’s Primera benjamínes.
