Málaga Alevín are Andalucían champions, as they defeat Betis (4-1)
Málaga CF Alevín were declared champions of Andalucía this Saturday morning, as they defeated Real Betis by 4-1 in Cazalla de la Sierra.
Ernesto Terrón’s team dominated the match over the Green and Whites, in the grand final held in Cazalla de la Sierra (Seville). Despite being a goal down, Málaga turned the game around and went all out to win. The powerful Blue and Whites attacking display led them to score four goals, though they could easily have scored more. Paquito scored twice, as well as Ale and Marcu to seal Málaga’s victory by 4-1, and winning the Andalucían Championship.
La Academia team again faced Betis, the same rival as last year in the final. “It was a very intense match against a great team; Betis is one of the best teams in Andalucía. We played brilliantly on the attack, the team was phenomenal. We created a lot of chances to score, and could have come away with more goals”, explains coach, Ernesto Terrón after the match.
