Luisa Vertel called-up by Colombia for U-17 Women’s World Cup

The player from the Málaga CF Femenino reserve team has been called-up by her country for the first time and will compete in the FIFA World Cup in Uruguay in November.

The good work of Málaga CF Femenino’s reserve team has been rewarded with an international call-up for Luisa Vertel. The Colombian striker has been selected by the U-17s to take part in the World Cup in Uruguay kicking off on 13th November.

Luisa was part of the reserve team’s promotion to Second Division last season. In total she scored 17 goals wearing the Málaga Femenino jersey.
