Los Lunes celebrates VIII Anniversary in honour of Fernando Peralta
This Friday the Peña Malaguista Los Lunes will celebrate its eighth anniversary as a supporters’ group. In addition, the Peña will pay tribute to the former Blue and White goalkeeper, Fernando Peralta.
Founded in 2011, Los Lunes has been growing over the past years consolidating itself within the framework of federated Malaguista supporters’ clubs. Tomorrow, from 20:30, a gala evening will take place at the Peña’s headquarters in Puerto de la Torre to commemorate its eighth anniversary.
The protagonist of the event will be Fernando Peralta, who will receive the IX “Malaguista Leyenda” Trophy from the Peña. Considered one of the best goalkeepers in the history of CD Málaga, where he played for eight seasons in two different stages (1980-86 and 1990-92), the keeper from Ronda accumulated 75 matches in the First Division, 122 in the Second Division, 20 in the Copa del Rey, four in the Copa de la Liga and two in the First Division promotion play-offs. He was also an international with Spain until the Under-21 category whilst at the La Rosaleda club.
