Loren: “I’m happy at being in the starting line-up, but not with the draw”

The Málaga CF striker, who was in his first starting line-up of the season, appeared in the mixed zone following the draw with FC Andorra. “We had a good first half with chances to win,” he stated.

Loren Zúñiga was one of the Malaguista players who held a press conference after #MálagaAndorra in the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room.

The number ‘29’ was in the starting-11 for the first time this season. He started off by reviewing tonight’s match at La Rosaleda. “We had a good first half with chances that we could have taken advantage of to win.” He added: “We’ve got two matches coming up this week and we’re certain we’ll get a good result.”

The Blue and White forward also talked about the fans who he said were “spectacular as always. We’ll continue working hard and strive to win the three points in our upcoming games,” he said.

Loren explained what Pepe Mel wanted from him: “He asked me to be the space and to work hard to win the duels.”

“I’m happy at being in the starting line-up, but not with the draw as we wanted a victory,” he said.

Finally, the homegrown striker revealed his recipe for entering the line-up: “I always try to work hard, train well and be patient to try and earn my chance.”
