Lombán asked for good health for everyone after such a difficult time and conveyed his happiness for the return of the fans to La Rosaleda. “It’s already the fourth year, I am not asking for much, but to protect us, good health for everyone and for the health situation to improve for us all. It’s great news that from the first match we’re going to see the fans again and that’s cause for celebration”, he said.
With regard to the capacity limit at the stadium, David called for unity: “Hopefully we’ll have as many fans there as are permitted, we need them, in order to generate that sense of unity for the season to go well”.
In terms of the new season, the lads are positive. Lombán sees an “eager” team. “The new players are full of enthusiasm, as are the ones who arrived last year who are excited to play a match in front of the fans and feel what it’s like playing at La Rosaleda with the supporters. This mentality will be fundamental this season”.
