“As time goes on, you can see the progression, and how we’re getting to know each other better.  It’s important to gain the pace of play little by little before LaLiga begins.  We’ve got a heavy physical work load at the back, but that’s where the new players come in, to breathe fresh air into the team.  The pre-season is there to ensure we get match-fit and combat fatigue.  The important thing is how we start LaLiga, and I think we’re going to start well.”

Adapting
