Visit to Residencia San Juan de Ávila kicks off Solidarity Thursdays
The Málaga CF Foundation visited the Residencia Asistida San Juan de Ávila, home to senior citizens. The Malaguista delegation, residents, and staff shared a morning full of joy and Malaguista gifts.
Christmas is a time for gatherings, affection, and hope. Like every year, Málaga CF and the MCF Foundation use this season to launch Solidarity Thursdays, spreading joy, companionship, and optimism throughout December, while reminding everyone that the most important thing during the holidays is sharing with others.
This year, the first stop on the solidarity calendar was the Residencia Asistida San Juan de Ávila. The Malaguista delegation enjoyed a heartwarming morning with the seniors, who welcomed them with enthusiasm and plenty of Malaguista spirit.
Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’, representative of the MCF Foundation, was joined by María Farfán and Marina Tomás, players from Málaga CF Femenino, as well as Diego and Adrián from Málaga Genuine. They were responsible for handing out Malaguista gifts, bringing smiles and excitement to the residents.
The morning unfolded in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, full of anecdotes, Málaga CF memories, and advice that the seniors wanted to share. In turn, the Málaga representatives conveyed a message of hope and affection. Once again, at Christmas, the Club honours its most senior fans and wishes them a Merry Christmas.
Thank you for your support, Fundación Harena! And thank you for welcoming us, Residencia San Juan de Ávila!
