La Rosaleda’s first Metaverse concert is a great success

On Saturday 3rd December, at the Caja Blanca, a musical concert was held that could be experienced virtually at La Rosaleda Stadium thanks to the innovative technology of the Metaverse. Andrés Caro represented the Malaguistas at the event.

Music filled La Rosaleda again after 15 years. Rocío Jurado, George Michael, Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Maná… On Saturday it was the turn of Martín & Cía and Vema, who joined the long list of artists who have enjoyed the Martiricos venue. However, they lived a very different, unique experience: their concert took place in the Metaverse.

The Club is thrilled to have formed part of this unique initiative in Spanish football. The more than 300 guests, a more than remarkable figure for this type of virtual reality action, endorse the commitment made by the Malaguista entity, recreating the stadium together with the prestigious start-up Rock&Change and its brand Metaverso ILV400.

One of them was Blue and White defender Andrés Caro, who connected to the concert and enjoyed the digital immersion. The homegrown Malagueño said he enjoyed “an amazing experience” and highlights the freedom of being able to interact and carry out unusual actions in everyday life, such as letting off fireworks.

Thanks to this event, Málaga CF takes a technological leap that places us at the helm of Spanish professional football clubs in the Metaverse, and presents a new way to develop initiatives that promote Malaguismo among the youngest fans. As Carlos Arias, director of the Club's Business and General Services Department said during the presentation at the 'Juan Cortés' press room: “It opens up an opportunity to introduce this digitisation to our fans. We believe the Metaverse will lead to that new audience. It opens up new possibilities for us to collaborate with other businesses and get closer to the fans in a different way.”

The City Hall promoted this initiative through the Department of Education, Youth and Employment, within Málaga’s Mobile Week. The Blue and White sponsor continues to develop joint dynamics to boost the growth of the Malaguista feeling on the Costa del Sol.
