Ben Barek

“The Sheikh is very involved in the 75th Anniversary, he was delighted and congratulated everyone who has worked to prepare this wonderful event.”

Basti

“From Málaga CF and the MCF Foundation, we’re all thrilled to celebrate La Rosaleda’s birthday.  It’s been a total success.  All the guests were very happy, as well as all the directors of course, headed up by our president, who has been there with us very day looking at the photographs.  My neighbour brought me to the pitch for the first time when I was eight years old.  I remember seeing a very large, very green stadium.  I thought that one day maybe I would get to step on to the pitch at La Rosaleda, and my dream came true.”

Raúl Iznata

“75 years ago my grandfather was captain of that Málaga team.  It was he who inaugurated the stadium, and after 75 years my family is still here.  Almost all of my family has worked at La Rosaleda.  My grandfather was the owner of the stadium’s bars.  All of my cousins, uncles and I have all worked at La Rosaleda.”
