Headed up by Rafael Morales and Francesc Arnau, the boys are in Group 25, and will face Portuguese sides, FC Ferreiras (29th March, 4 p.m.) and Portimonense (30th March, 10 a.m.), Huelva-based CD San Vicente de Paul (31st March, 3 p.m.) and USA side, Legacy United EC (1st April, 12 p.m.)
The first, second and four best third placed teams of each group will qualify to the final stage of the competition, beginning on Thursday 2nd April with the knockout stages, the quarter-finals and semi-finals on Friday, and the grand final taking place on Saturday.
1st Javi Mérida Tournament - Sunday
Málaga CF’s ‘Prebenjamin’ boys are in action on Sunday 29th March in the Javi Mérida tournament, named after the ‘Juvenil’ player from La Academia, organised by Athletic Club Fuengirola. Cristian Galiana’s boys will come up against At. Zabal (10:25 a.m.), CD Peña Compadres (10:50 a.m.), and CD Lauro (1:35 p.m.) in the group stage.
