Atlético Malagueño maintains the group leadership following a draw with Huétor Tájar (1-1), and Atlético Málaga spectacularly defeats La Rambla 7-1.

Atlético Malagueño claimed a point from the visit to Huétor Tájar in a match that became difficult very quickly. In minute 5, Moi put the locals in the lead with a shot at will inside the area, making it an uphill struggle for the ‘Malaguistas’. After several minutes of heavy, imprecise play, Malagueño equalised thanks to a goal from Mauri who outwitted the rival defence following a pass from Alberto in minute 17. At the start of the second half Torras was shown his second yellow card and Ruano was left with 10 players on the pitch. The match cooled down after the expulsion and neither team arrived at the rival goal area with any real danger. The final result: a 1-1 draw that keeps Malagueño at the top of Third Division Group 9, tied on points with El Ejido and Loja.

Atlético Málaga defeated La Rambla by 7-1 in a match that also got off to a tough start for Manuel Hernández Navarrete’s girls. The Blue and Whites had to overcome an early own goal by Sandra following poor clearance in minute 10. Atlético Málaga dominated the match and Noelia scored the equaliser in minute 38, another in minute 44 as well as a goal from Anita. In the second half, the ‘Malaguista’ superiority was overwhelming. Cristina (57’), Pamela, on two occasions (65’ and 86’), another from Anita (76’), and Laura (77’) made it a definitive 7-1 win.
