La Academia lose out in semi-finals of ‘Ciudad de Camas’ tournament

Málaga CF’s ‘Alevínes’ and ‘Benjamínes’ performed well in the ‘Ciudad de Camas’ tournament, but were knocked out in the semi-finals by Sevilla FC (0-1).

José Marquez’s ‘Benjamínes’ defeated Córdoba CF (3-0), Sevilla FC (1-0), and Nervión (2-1) in the group stage, and Mérida CF (2-0) in the quarter-finals.  The boys came up against Sevilla FC again in the semis, but this time victory went to the rival.
 
The 2003-born ‘Alevínes’, headed up by Juan Díaz and Antonio Cazalla, also lost out to Sevilla FC in the semi-finals by the same score, 0-1, whereas the group stage game ended in a 1-1 draw.  The ‘Malaguistas’ defeated Córdoba (3-0) and Nervión (3-0) in the group stage and Mérida CF in the quarter-finals (6-0).
