La Academia juvenil player, En-Nesyri called-up to Morocco’s under-20s

The Juvenil División de Honor striker has been selected by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to join the team in Rabat.

Youssef En-Nesyri, who plays in Málaga CF’s Juvenil División de Honor, will head to the Moroccan capital on Wednesday 23rd March to join the under-20s.  He was part of a national team pre-line-up of 34 players – made up of veterans and young players - chosen by recently named coach, Michelle Hervé Renard.

Of the 34 players, 23 have been selected definitively, and certain young players such as En-Nesyri will be at the Al Maamoura National Football Centre in Rabat, ahead of two qualifiers for the under-20s’ Africa Cup, taking place on 20th and 22nd May.

“I’ve dreamt of this many times, and I have always wanted to wear my national team shirt.  I’m delighted to have been called-up, and hope to continue to improve my performance, so I can go far.  I know a number of players on the team, and I also know that other young players have been selected so they can be watched more closely.”
