Final session before three-day break

Málaga CF resumed training this Thursday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga; the last session of the week before the Malaguistas enjoy a break on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The team was in training at full capacity between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. today, alternating between physical exercise and ball work.  Goalkeeper, Ochoa and reserve team keeper, Aarón, plus another 15 players were on the pitch.  Boka returned to group training having recovered from his gastro virus.  Kameni underwent therapeutic treatment in the gym; continuous running with fitness trainer, Enrique Ruiz; and specific work with goalkeeping coach, Iñigo Arteaga.

As well as Uche, absent with the Club’s permission, the eight players also absent from first team training due to international duty, begin competition today with their respective national teams: Rosales and Juanpi (Venezuela), Santa Cruz (Paraguay), Filipenko (Belarus), Atsu (Ghana), Horta (Portugal under-21s and under-23s), Pablo (Spain under-21s) and Ontiveros (under-19s).

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team has three days off during the League break over Easter: Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March.
