Kellyan: “The protocols are designed to make the return happen more quickly”

The young Blue and White goalkeeper spoke to the Club media about the return to La Rosaleda: “It’s so good to see my teammates again after all this time, far better than seeing them through a camera”.

Special year

“It’s been a season of varying emotions, starting with the Second Division debut, which was a dream for me. Now, this situation led to an unexpected turn in terms of training, but the team remains very united, despite working remotely, and extremely eager to return”.

Training during lockdown

“I’m lucky to have a terrace, it’s a privilege. It was good for me to be able to train in the sun. We were also provided with equipment, which I didn’t have at first, everything’s been great”.

Back on the pitch

“It’s been a joy to be back in training. We’re enjoying being on the pitch, smelling the grass is so good. We only interacted with the goalkeeping coach, Dani, which I’m more than happy about it. Returning to the field of play is great”.

Looking forward to competing again

The protocols are designed to make the return happen more quickly. When you move from training at home to getting back on the pitch, the sensations come flooding back and you are more and more eager to return”.

Seeing teammates

It’s so good to see my teammates again after all this time, far better than seeing them through a camera. I crossed paths with Munir, Gonzalo and Dani, just seeing them is great as you can interact with them whilst maintaining the correct safety distance”.
