Keko and Mula visit ‘Peña Malaguista de Personas Sordas’

The Blue and Whites’ players attended the 5th anniversary of a very special ‘peña’, headquartered in the city’s Nueva Málaga district.

Located in the Bailén-Miraflores area of Málaga, the ‘Peña Malaguista de Personas Sordas’ has a significant number of members as it celebrates its fifth year. Keko Gontán and Álex Mula headed up the Club’s representation, and received a warm welcome from every member of the supporters’ club.

The footballers signed autographs, postcards and took photos with fans, who were delighted at the visit of the two midfielders. At the end of the event, they presented the ‘peña’ with a jersey signed by the Málaga CF squad, amongst other Blue and Whites’ gifts.

Statements by Keko and Mula | MCFTV

Keko Gontán

“This is a very special visit, they are normal people, yet not who we are usually surrounded by. As such it’s always nice to visit them and be close to them, as we are with all our fans.

“Mula and I promised them that if we score a goal we’ll celebrate it like this (shakes hands), which will be a nice gesture for them”.

 Álex Mula

“Although they cannot express themselves in the same way as other fans, they still encourage us just as much. It’s super important for us that they’re there cheering us on, through the good and bad. I’m really happy with that”.
