Kameni and Mathijsen, called-up by their national sides

Málaga CF’s Joris Mathijsen has been called-up to play for Holland in next Wednesday’s friendly against England which takes place at Wembley Stadium at 8 p.m (UK time).

The Malaguista defender, who has become a regular in Holland manager, Bert van Marwijk’s line-ups, will join the reigning World Cup runners-up in a squad that will include Mark van Bommel (AC Milan), Klaas Jan Huntelaar (Schalke 04), Dirk Kuyt (Liverpool), Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Arjen Robben (Bayern Münich), Wesley Sneijder (Inter), Maarten Stekelenburg (AS Roma) and Rafael van der Vaart (Tottenham Hotspur), amongst others.

Likewise, Carlos Kameni, will play with Cameroon in an international friendly against Guinea on Wednesday 29th February.  The Blue and Whites goalie will be absed with his national side from 27th February and will return to Málaga n 1st Marhc.
 
Mathijsen joins other Blue and Whites players who have been called-up for international duty next week.  They include Cazorla (Spain), Isco (Spanish Olympic squad), Juanmi (Spain’s Under 19s), Rondón (Venezuela) and Seba (Uruguay).
