Just before 3 p.m, and after a tour of the Blue and White’s stadium, the MCF directors and those of Zaragoza met for lunch in La Rosaleda’s VIP, located in the upper part of the Tribuna stand at the Martiricos campus.
Málaga CF was represented by Consultant Advisor, Francisco Martín Aguilar; the Advisor to the Presidency, Jesús Nuño; and the General Manager, Fernando Hierro. And for Real Zaragoza were the president, Agapito Iglesias; the Delegate Consultant, Francisco J. Checa; the Medical Services Advisor, Jesús Villanueva; and the Social Manager and former player, Luis Carlos Cuartero.
The Club, via Martín Aguilar, presented various gifts to the Zaragocista executives, including a Málaga Lighthouse statue and four laminated Picasso Museum prints. There was a warm and cordial atmosphere between both clubs against a backdrop of healthy sporting rivalry.
