Atlético Malagueño right back Francisco de Borja Jurado was operated on successfully today at the Clínica Quirón in Barcelona. The operation carried out by doctor Ramón Cugat, was done as a result of a torn crossed anterior ligament of the footballer’s left knee, where he also had a torn internal meniscus. The malagueño footballer will stay at the Clínica Quirón for the next few days before returning to Málaga where he will begin physiotherapy. The period estimated for his recovery is between 6 and 7 months.
