Juankar: “The headline would say ‘very tired’”

The versatile left-back attended to the media following the match against Mallorca: “The sensations are the most important thing, not the results”, he affirmed.

2-0 defeat

“We continue to gain sensations. The team was very good in the first half, yet in the second you could see the accumulation of work taking its toll. The positive aspect is that this is the pre-season, and the sensations from the first half and part of the second half were good”.

Sensations

“We lacked that goal and didn’t finish the plays well that were a struggle to generate. However, the sensations are the most important thing now, not the results”.

Homegrown players

“The homegrown players are always incredibly enthusiastic when they move up. The ‘older’ ones are here to help them, as they helped me when I was young and moved up to the first team. We try to make them feel at home”.

Review

“The review of the pre-season would say ‘very tired’ as the headline, but it is what it is. There’s no point complaining or making excuses, this hard work needs to be done so we can start the season at 100 per cent. In regard to the League competition, it’s nearly upon us, time flies by, so we need to be at full fitness to compete to the max”.

Okazaki and the group

“He’s integrated very well. If this group has one thing it’s the good vibe from within. We have good players and good people, which is also important”.

Physical condition

“I felt great. The summer break did me the world of good and I feel perfectly fine. I hope to continue gaining that spark and not lose speed”.
