Juankar: “I wanted to have a fixed position in one place, particularly here”

The player is presented as a Málaga CF-owned footballer, after two seasons on loan: “Since I arrived, I have been treated as a member of this great family. I’m delighted to have signed for four years”.

Juankar was presented this Friday afternoon as a Malaguista at the Audi Safamotor dealership, located on Avda de Velázquez, 468. Sports director at the Club, Francesc Arnau accompanied the player and commented to the media that the player “has found his place here. He found it following two loan periods. He’s here now and we’re going to enjoy him for four years”.

Happy

I wanted to have a fixed position in one place, particularly here. Since I arrived, I have been treated as a member of this great family. I’m delighted to have signed for four years here in Málaga”.

Málaga, home

“Things changed from being peaceful and stable. It wasn’t just me when the season ended, but also my girlfriend. When the competition came to a close I had to pack up my things, and during the holiday month, you don’t know what to do”.

Miguel Torres and Ricca

“I wish this hadn’t happened to my teammates. They are absences that will affect us substantially, but there are players who can cover this position, like Álex Robles. I hope that the guys recover as soon as possible”.

Position

“The position I feel the most comfortable in is on the wing, because there’s no defence. I feel at home on the left, front or back, and always try to do my best in all matches”.

Speed

“It’s always a good thing. There are players who are very quick but don’t make the most of it, whereas I do. I always try to take advantage of my pace as I know it’s my strength. Technically I’m more ‘loose’ than speedy”.

New teammates

“The best thing about this team is that we’re a very healthy team. The first day Cecchini arrived he felt like a member of the group. We always try to make the new players feel at home so they adapt very quickly. For his part, Diego trained with us pretty well. He’s a big guy, I hope I never collide with him (laughs). I think he’ll bring a lot to the team, and the more players there are to help the team, the better for everyone”.
