Juande: We’re conveying hunger, solidarity and ambition

The Blue and White player spoke to the media in the post-match press conference after the victory against Recreativo Granada: “We’re delighted to have three victories in a row, but we have to keep our heads in order,” he said.

“Very happy to be able to start the match with the team. The competition we have is very healthy, there are many players of a high level. The competition is going to ensure we’re all involved. It's going to make us better and we're going to have to push ourselves to the maximum both in training and in matches as we know there’s a teammate pushing from behind,” the defender commented.

Juande praises the work of the entire team: “We’re seen a great amount of defensive commitment in every game. Not just the defenders, the attackers too. In the end, it's about everyone. It was important to keep a clean sheet, something we haven’t done in the first three matches. We must continue along this line and take advantage of this dynamic,” he noted.

The clean sheet is one of the main objectives MCF achieved today: “Keeping the clean sheet has given us all a boost of energy. We’re delighted to have three victories in a row, but we have to keep our heads in order, this has only just begun. Taking away the results, I think we are conveying a lot of hunger, solidarity, ambition and great unity. It’s important because, if we have those pillars, the results will come,” he added.

Juande is pleased but keeps his feet on the ground: “We have to keep a cool head. We know that the season is very long. Now we have just accumulated three consecutive victories. We are a young team, but we are all moving in the same direction. We know it’s a very tough competition and any team can make the game very difficult for you. There’ll be no time to relax. On the contrary, we are going to go for more, with great desire and great ambition,” he concluded.
